Ooredoo Kuwait organizes ‘Executive Presence’ workshop for its leaders
KUWAIT: Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of Ooredoo international group, concluded this year’s development agenda for its Leaders with the ‘Executive Presence’ workshop. The workshop was held at the company’s headquarter in Kuwait City, and was attended by a number of Ooredoo Kuwait directors and executive staff members.
The main focus of the two day workshop, led by the reputable Canadian based organization, was to develop skills and abilities that communicate the executive presence required to achieve upward mobility. Additionally, the workshop aim to empower Leaders with the credibility to secure business goals, in addition to encouraging confidence and elevating the global stature of the organization as a progressive innovator.
The Executive Presence development program was an outcome need of the extensive assessments and the Talent Reviews that were conducted earlier this year.
Commenting on this, Saleh Al-Houti, Ooredoo Kuwait Chief Human Resources Officer said: “We are very pleased to collaborate with the renowned organization such as Corporate Class Inc. to conduct a two day workshop, which is the first of its kind in the GCC. Throughout the year, we have worked with renowned institutes to develop our employees and empower them with knowledge and training experience. This stems from our deep-rooted belief in the importance of investing in our employees.”
Ooredoo Kuwait has always been keen on providing its employees with the needed workshops and development programs to continuously help improving their skills and talents to achieve excellence in their performance. In 2015 Ooredoo Kuwait had conducted 51 development programs in addition to an ‘On job training’ for Front Liners. These development programs covered various topics for different departments including technical and soft courses, attended by Ooredoo employees and franchises representatives.
In addition to the training courses and workshops, Ooredoo Kuwait offered 2 opportunities for funded bachelor degrees for its national’s employees this year and 3 seats for master’s degree.
These assessments, talent reviews, workshops and development programs are part of Ooredoo’s strategic plan to invest in its human capital and develop the talents and capacities of its employees in order to attain the high standard level they wish to achieve and further contribute to the success of the company.
