Ooredoo surprises mothers of Kuwait on their special day

KUWAIT: In celebration of Mother’s Day, Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of international Ooredoo Group, has surprised mothers who visited number of restaurants at SoMu Square in Mubarakiya and Morouj Complex by fully paying their bills, representing them with a branded greeting card from Ooredoo.

This thoughtful initiative does not only express the company’s gratitude towards mothers, who spend all their lives, raising their children, building their families and setting a great example for love and sacrifice, but also helps supporting young Kuwaitis businesses and projects.

Commenting on the initiative, Mijbil Alayoub, Director of Corporate Communications at Ooredoo Kuwait said: “It was our pleasure to surprise mothers on their special day; moms do play a vital role in our society and must be appreciated and esteemed for their endless sacrifices and continuous love. Empowering women is a key element of our CSR strategy therefore appreciating them is something we would always want to do”

“Also, with this initiative we are supporting young business owners who retain restaurants in SoMu Square in Mubarakiya and Morouj Complex. Developing businesses of young Kuwaiti entrepreneurs has always been our objective and a goal to achieve” added Alayoub.

Ooredoo’s management also distributed flowers to all female employees working in the company’s head office and branches earlier that morning, expressing appreciation towards their efforts within the organization and outside it and the great role played by them in the society.
