Nation’s will defeats tanks
On Friday night, all free people were following, with pain, the failed attempted military coup in Turkey, and all were saying “we pray that it fails”. Sure enough, the Turkish people fulfilled these people’s wishes and gave them a patriotic lesson that will remain for long, when they went out in front of tanks and armored vehicles to tell those carrying out the coup: We will not allow you to snatch our will, and we will not allow you to steal our freedom and dignity, and we will not leave the country for you to hand it to those who conspired with you against it. We will not go back to the years of oppression and humiliation that we suffered all along your rule of the country for several decades. The Turkish people did not face military tanks and armored vehicles in order to protect Erdogan or his ruling party rather they went out to protect its will and legitimacy that they chose through direct elections.
The Turkish people, with all its components and parties, went out to confront those who carried out the coup and their tanks to speak with one tongue and one heart that “we will not let you”, and succeeded in foiling the military coup against their country, and thwarted the conspiracy that was planned against them, and gave the world an significant lesson and a clear message that the will of the nation will not be defeated by tanks and the army, and that those who lived in freedom will not accept returning to slavery.
The Turkish people sent a message to all world leaders that your people are your strongest fort, and they are the protective shield from any conspiracy be it foreign or domestic, so make them have confidence in you through your work for them and for the sake of their children. The Turkish people sent a message to all those who wish Turkey evil, destruction and instability, that despite differences, they will not allow going back, and will not allow any foreign or domestic power that messes with their will, freedom or stability.
This is in clear language. The Turkish people gave a heroic lesson: The people’s will defeats the tanks, smashes armored vehicles, breaks the nose of the traitor and conspirator, and protects legitimacy, democracy and freedom. It is a lesson if understood by the rest of people and their regimes, they would be like Turkey today... so thank you for this wonderful lesson.
