PIC earns ‘ISO 55001’ in asset management

KUWAIT: Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) has earned an ‘ISO 55001’ certificate in asset management, a distinction the company hailed as a “first of its kind benchmark.” CEO of the fertilizers department of PIC Mijbil Al-Shammeri said that the company is proud to “have been the first Kuwaiti company to be the recipient of the ISO 55001 certificate.” Moreover, Mulla underscored that having ISO 55001 certification would serve as an incentive to other companies, which would in turn, bring about a thriving oil sector industry. — KUNA
