Ibtikar on a mission to explore and develop students talents
KUWAIT: CEO of Ibtikar Kuwait Initiative for research and projects Hessa Al-Ali said that one of the main aims of Sheikh Fadya Al-Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah’s Scientific Competition is to explore female students’ talents in all three educational stages and develop them in a way that enhances the spirit of cooperative and communal work amongst the participants. Speaking after an awareness convention recently held at Ibn AL-Ameed School in the presence of a number of MoE officials, AlAli stressed that the competition also targets promoting scientific research and patriotism amongst participants. Al-Ali Said that this year’s competition will go beyond science. It will include PC, recycling and Arabic. The administrators and supervisors of the winners would also get special awards. The competition was launched in 1999 for secondary school students in Kuwait and it then expanded to include secondary school students in GCC states.
