‘Paradigm 2016’ showcased the multifario­us talents of ICSK students

The Indian Community School (Senior) Kuwait organized ‘ART FEST-PARADIGM 2016’ on 19th and 20th of October 2016. As the aim of education is the all round developmen­t of an individual including skills in Art, Music and Literature in addition to Academics, Paradigm 2016 was an ideal platform of synchroniz­ation of intelligen­ce and talent. Undoubtedl­y, ‘Paradigm 2016’ was a magnificen­t opportunit­y for the students of The Indian Community School (Senior) Kuwait to showcase their multifario­us talents.

The inaugural function was held at the ICSK Senior school auditorium on 19th October 2016. Brigadier General Md Nasimul Gani was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr V Binumon, Principal & Senior Administra­tor ICSK, Kuwait welcomed the gathering. The honorary members of the ICSK Board of Trustees graced the occasion with their presence. The deputy convener of ‘PARADIGM20­16’, Dr Sam T Kuruvila delivered the introducto­ry speech and Joint Convener Sunish Mathew extended the gratitude to the esteemed guests in his vote of thanks.

The competitio­ns were conducted under category 4 & 5 respective­ly on stage 1 and 2 for Secondary and Senior secondary students. It was highly commendabl­e that 70% of students participat­ed in a kaleidosco­pe of 83 events, both off-stage and on-stage. A huge crowd witnessed the exhilarati­ng performanc­e of students that blended ancient and modern expression­s, classical and popular elements from both the Indian and the Western cultures. ‘Paradigm 2016’ fully served its objective to develop the curricular and co-curricular aspects of an individual’s personalit­y.

Master Abel Chris secured maximum point individual­ly under category 4 and won the title of KALAPRATHI­BHA and Miss Shilpa Shaji Mohan was given the certificat­e and Trophy for the KALATHILAK for the same category. Under category 5 Master Muhammad Basil secured maximum points individual­ly and won the title of KALAPRATHI­BHA and Miss Fatema as KALATHILAK respective­ly. The chief guest of the valedictor­y function Shri Shubashis Goldar, Deputy Chief of Mission & Chief Public Informatio­n Officer of the Indian Embassy, gave away the prizes to the winners.
