‘Kashta Khalijiya’ forum concludes
The National Society of Domestic Security (RAWASI) held a concluding ceremony for the third edition of ‘Kashta Khalijiya’ (Gulf picnic) Forum on Tuesday, which was attended by the representative of the State Ministry for Youth Affairs Mohammed Al-Mutairi on behalf of Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, and Ali Al-Hadad, Chairman of Rawda and Hawally Co-op Society. Hadad noted that the co-op has set 20 percent of its profits for society services and activities.
Tahani Al-Qalaf, Head of the Media Committee at RAWASI said that the ‘Kashta Khalijiya’ Forum coincides with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (ISESCO) decision to select Kuwait City as the Capital of Islamic Culture for the year 2016. A total of 350 young members from Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries participated in the forum. “We spent four months preparing this cultural activity. Also, it is amazing that female participation reached over 200, out of all the participants,” stressed Qalaf.
The activities included different courses and symposiums. A body language course presented by Hisham Abu Shaira, as well as another course titled ‘Turning Point’ by Faisal Al-Musawi, which showed that creativity and achieving has no limits, while a planning course was presented by Dr Maher Al-Seif accompanied by a workshop. In addition, Hawra’ Dashti presented a course on personal charisma directly communicating with the audience. In the meantime, Abdullah Mahdi presented a course titled ‘God’s Paradise on Earth’. The forum also had comedy sessions and speeches presented by the GCC participants, followed by an open discussion session. The forum concluded with an award ceremony and dinner.
