Public Authority for Sport shooting tournament

Tournament of the Public Authority for Sport (PAS), held at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex and organized by Kuwait Shooting Sports Club in 10m air pistol and rifle, 50m prone rifle and Olympic archery concluded on Sunday in the presence of Secretary General of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Obaid Al-Osaimi, KSSC board member Eng Hussam Al-Roumi, Lt Colonel Salaf Al-Huraiji from National Guard and fans of the sport. Nearly 120 shooters participated in the tournament which lasted three days.

Al-Osaimi pointed out the great interest PAS pays to shooting under the leadership of Director General Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his deputies, through providing all that is necessary to continue the success Kuwait Shooting had enjoyed locally, regionally and internationally.

Final results of the tournament are: In the men’s 10m air pistol: Hamad Al-Namshan won first place and the gold medal followed by Ali Khalid AlSubaie second and Hassan Al-Mulla third.

In the 50m men prone rifle: Abdallah Al-Harby took first place, Khalid Share Al-Subaie second, and Mohammad Shateel third.

In the 10m air rifle women: Heba Irzouqi first, Iyat Hassan Al-Duwaikhi second and Maryam Irzouqi third.

10m air rifle men juniors: Suleiman Al-Asousi, Mushari Al-Marta and Saud Duhaiman Al-Subaie.

10m air rifle women juniors: Reem Al-Bughaili, Batoul Ashkenani, Yara Khalaf.
