Amir meets top Bosnian lawmaker
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met with the visiting Speaker of the Bosnian House of Representatives Sefik Dzaferovic at Bayan Palace yesterday. The meeting was attended by National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem and Deputy Minister of Amir Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Dzaferovic arrived to Kuwait earlier yesterday on a two-day official visit. He also met with Ghanem to discuss bilateral cooperation in all fields, pointing out the importance of parliamentary collaboration and ways of enhancing existing relations, in addition to regional and international issues that concern both nations.
The meeting was attended by Kuwait’s Deputy Speaker MP Essa Al-Kandari, Chief of the Honorary Mission MP Ali Salem Al-Deqbasi and several members of Kuwaiti parliament, in addition to Kuwait’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nasser Al-Mutairi, and Bosnian Ambassador to Kuwait Mehmed Halilovic.
After the meeting, Speaker Ghanem held a luncheon banquet in honor of the visiting official and his accompanying delegation at Sabah AlAhmad’s building where a number of MPs attended. The Bosnian parliament speaker arrived in Kuwait earlier yesterday on a two-day official visit. Dzaferovic also met with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad AlSabah at Bayan Palace.

Separately, His Highness the Amir received His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace yesterday. His Highness the Amir also received Ghanem, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak as well as First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Hamad Al-Sabah. Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince received Ghanem, His Highness Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled AlJarrah Al-Sabah. Moreover, His Highness the Crown Prince received Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak AlSabah and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Planning and Development Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh.
In other news, His Highness the Amir addressed a cable of condolences to Saudi King Salman on the demise of the mother of Prince Nawaf bin Saud bin Abdulaziz. His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister sent similar cables to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
