Late Sheikh Abdallah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah shooting tournament

KUWAIT: The tournament of the late Sheikh Abdallah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, held at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex concluded Saturday in the presence of representative of tournament patron Sheikh Abdallah Khalid Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi, Secretary General of KSF, ASF Obaid Al-Osaim, and Kuwait Shooting Sport Club board members.

KSSC Assistant Secretary Eng. Mohammad Al-Ghurba said the tournament enjoyed large participation by club, and National Guard shooters who competed hard in a friendly atmosphere and results were promising.

He said Sheikh Abdallah Al-Mubarak’s traits represent the man who loves his country and was an example of forgiveness and humbleness. Al-Ghurab thanked the family of the late Sheikh for supporting shooting and shooters.

Results of the tournament were as follows:

In the Skeen men: Salah Al-Mutairi won first place, followed by Saud Habib in second and Zaid Al-Mutairi third.

In the trap men: Khalid Al-Mudhaf was first, Talal Al-Rashidi second and Saad AlHubaida third. In the double trap: Ahmad Al-Afasi first, Saad Lafi second and Meshal Al-Thafiri third. In the trap women: Sarah Al-Hawal was first, Shahad Al-Hawal second and Fatima Fawzi third.

In the Skeet women: Eman Al-Shamma took first place, Afrah Adel in second while Sheikha Al-Rashidi third. In the Juniors Skeet: Hamad Al-Ablani first, Hamad Al-Khalidi second and Ahmad AlAzmi third. In the juniors trap: Bader Al-Adwani, won first place, Faris Al-Mutairi second and Rashid Al-Rashidi third.
