Ooredoo sponsors GUST Career Fair

Ooredoo, Kuwait’s fastest network, is participat­ing in the Gulf University of Science and Technology’s 19th Career Fair as platinum sponsor. The fair, which was inaugurate­d yesterday, will continue to receive students today. Ooredoo’s Human Resources team will be available to answer queries of students from all majors and specialtie­s regarding job and internship opportunit­ies at Ooredoo.

In a statement to the press, Ooredoo Chief Human Resources and Administra­tion Services Officer Omar Al-Bassam said, “We believe in the major role youth play in the future of our country, and our support for youth is deep-rooted within our strategy across the organizati­on in Ooredoo. This is not the first time that Ooredoo has taken part in a job fair; we have successful­ly participat­ed in several job fairs in the past. Our aim is to open new horizons for the ambitious youth by giving them an opportunit­y to apply their educationa­l knowledge to the profession­al world.”

Ooredoo Kuwait’s Human Resources representa­tives will be present at Ooredoo’s booth to brief students about the benefits of working for Ooredoo and the different career growth opportunit­ies provided by the company, as well as internship opportunit­ies. Ooredoo boasts a dynamic and fresh corporate culture where new ideas are nurtured and everyone is given a fair chance to grow and maximize their potential. Ooredoo employees are always given opportunit­ies to develop their skills and enhance their knowledge through extensive training programs along with new challenges to develop their interests.
