KUWAIT ENCOURAGES YOUTHS’ CREATIVITY: MINISTER
KUWAIT: Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan said yesterday that Kuwait, represented by the Youth Ministry, supports talents and creativity of young people morally and materially.
Roudhan said in a speech at the inauguration of the Arabic Moot Court Competition 2017 hosted by Kuwait International Law School, that his ministry provides thoughtful support for youths and their creativity. He wished the competition to achieve its objectives and be able to qualify those talented young people for the future.
In a similar speech, President and Dean of KILAW Professor Mohammed Al-Moqatei said that his College sought to promote and develop law studies and human development in Kuwait by providing training and qualification opportunities at the highest levels. Kuwait International Law School (KILAW) will host the Arabic Moot Court Competition 2017 in the period from 2-6 April 2017. The Arab Moot Court is a competition that was held between 17-21 April, 2016 in Oman, and on 29 April to 1 May, 2016 in UAE (Dubai). The Arab Moot Court is an Arabic competition in Criminal Law.
Around 13-14 universities have accepted the invitation to take part in this competition. The participating universities are: Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, The University of Jordan, Birzeit University, Palestine, University of Baghdad, Iraq, Beirut Arab University, Lebanon, Qatar University, Al-Jouf University, Saudi Arabia, Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, UAE, Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco, Alexandria University, Egypt, Kingdom University, Bahrain and Dar Al-Hekma University, Saudi Arabia.
