Zain hosts Al-Asmaa High School students at its main headquarters
Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, recently hosted students from Al-Asmaa Bint Al-Harith High School at its main headquarters in Shuwaikh. The visit came in line with Zain’s strategy towards supporting the education sector in the country.
The visit came as part of Zain’s strategy to support the youth and develop the educational process. Through this strategy, the company is keen on actively developing the skills of high school and college students by conducting field visits, informative seminars, workshops, and more all year round and in collaboration with the various public and private educational institutions.
Zain took this opportunity to present the visiting students with a detailed explanatory session about its leading experiences and strategies in the fields of Public Relations, Editorial and Media Relations, Social Media, and Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility. Zain also showcased its leading experience in the telecom field by taking the students on a visit to the Networks Operations Center (NOC) to learn about the nature of work behind network operations, network infrastructure, as well as other technical areas.
The students were also introduced to Zain’s leading experience in customer service by participating in a tour at the company’s contact center (107) and main Shuwaikh branch, where they listened to live customer calls and learned about the different services and solutions offered within the branch and how to respond to customers’ needs.
Zain hosts seminars and student field trips regularly in line with its active Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility strategy that caters to the youth and education sectors. Such initiatives focus on the development of school and university students’ skills through a series of workshops, development programs, and informative seminars. Zain coordinates similar activities all year-round with students of various age groups to further increase their knowledge of the telecom industry in Kuwait.
The company is committed to offering school and university students with similar opportunities on an annual basis. Such programs are targeted at students in collaboration with public and private educational institutions in Kuwait, reflecting Zain’s ongoing efforts in promoting the education and development of the country’s youth.
