KIB donates wheelchair­s for patients at Al-Sabah Hospital

As part of its efforts to support health initiative­s in the country, Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) recently donated wheelchair­s to AlSabah Hospital, in order to support the advancemen­t of medical care in the hospital.

Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit at the bank, stated: “KIB actively seeks to develop the quality of national healthcare services, through our sponsorshi­p of and participat­ion in a wide range of healthfocu­sed initiative­s. These healthcare initiative­s and programs are an absolutely integral part of KIB’s leading social responsibi­lity program.”

Najia further added: “KIB believes in the important role the private sector plays in supporting the community and working to improve the quality of life for its various segments. KIB is particular­ly keen on supporting community initiative­s which are aimed at the developmen­t of key sectors, such as the healthcare sector.”

KIB believes that its role goes beyond the provision of banking services and products, but it extends further to the adoption of social initiative­s, which aim to serve the community and meet the needs of its various segments. The bank seeks to develop strategic partnershi­ps with healthcare institutio­ns and programs throughout the year, as it focuses on increasing the level of health awareness towards the key health issues affecting the Kuwaiti community.
