KIB donates wheelchairs for patients at Al-Sabah Hospital
As part of its efforts to support health initiatives in the country, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently donated wheelchairs to AlSabah Hospital, in order to support the advancement of medical care in the hospital.
Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at the bank, stated: “KIB actively seeks to develop the quality of national healthcare services, through our sponsorship of and participation in a wide range of healthfocused initiatives. These healthcare initiatives and programs are an absolutely integral part of KIB’s leading social responsibility program.”
Najia further added: “KIB believes in the important role the private sector plays in supporting the community and working to improve the quality of life for its various segments. KIB is particularly keen on supporting community initiatives which are aimed at the development of key sectors, such as the healthcare sector.”
KIB believes that its role goes beyond the provision of banking services and products, but it extends further to the adoption of social initiatives, which aim to serve the community and meet the needs of its various segments. The bank seeks to develop strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions and programs throughout the year, as it focuses on increasing the level of health awareness towards the key health issues affecting the Kuwaiti community.
