Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently organized its Annual Ramadan ghabqa, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between employees and promote the internal culture of teamwork, which brought together its executive management, members of the Fatwa and Sharia Board, and employees from across the Bank. On the one hand, it continues our tradition of celebrating social occasions that reflect Kuwait’s legacy and cultural heritage, as passed down to us from generation to generation. On the other hand, this year’s ghabqa coincides with us celebrating the milestone of 10 years since our transformation into an Islamic bank.”

Najia further noted that “10 years and you are the heroes of our story” is the theme of KIB’s Ramadan campaign for this year, adding that KIB employees continue to be the true heroes of the Bank’s success story thanks to their hard work and dedication. “This year’s Ramadan campaign showcases KIB’s commitment to the values of generosity and giving, not to mention our dedication to giving back to our community. We are proud to say that this spirit of giving continues to be the driving vision at KIB,” said Najia.

He further noted that the Bank has reaped numerous successes and achievements over the course of the past decade, and will continue to strive to achieve even greater success in its quest to become the “Islamic Bank of Choice in Kuwait”.

The ghabqa hosted KIB’s annual employee recognition awards, which featured several honors ranging from the “Ambassador Award” honoring employees who have had exceptional contributions towards bolstering the KIB brand, to the “Kuwaiti Graduate Award” honoring exceptionally talented local graduates.
