McDonald’s proud sponsor of Kuwait national jet ski team
KUWAIT: In line with its core philosophy of supporting the local sports culture and encouraging young athletic talents, McDonald’s Kuwait announced its sponsorship of the Kuwait national jet ski team, who recently competed in the World Jet Ski Championship which was held in Arizona in the United States.
Luai Al-Kilani, Vice President of McDonald’s Kuwait, congratulated the national champions on their stellar performance throughout the competition, as they successfully bolstered their already impressive roster of international achievements with a string of new victories.
The team’s star athlete and renowned international jet ski champion, Mohammed Burabea, scored a historic victory, becoming the first Arab athlete to win the gold medal in the Pro Open category. Designated for the most advanced pro athletes, the category is considered to be one of the most challenging in the sport. In addition to achieving a regional first, Burabea also broke his own personal record, earning his 21st gold medal in the span of 11 consecutive years.
In total, the national team nabbed 13 medals three gold, four silver and six bronze. In addition to Burabea’s gold, Abdulrahman Ghazi Al Omar won two gold medals of his own, while his teammate Walid Al Adsani won two silver. Abdullah Al Ghanim won three medals, one silver and two
