KUWAIT: Audi Kuwait presents another successful model: the new generation of one of Audi’s best-sellers, the allnew Audi Q5. The SUV with the four rings is more powerful, sporty and efficient, combining the sportiness of an Audi sedan with a multifaceted character and a highly flexible interior. With its connectivity, efficiency and driver assistance systems - the new Audi Q5 once again sets standards in its segment with new features including quattro drive with ultra-technology, infotainment and safety systems. Fouad Alghanim & Sons Automotive Company recently introduced one of its newest models, the all-new Audi Q5. During the launch ceremony of the car, the Dealer Principle and General Manager, Tarek Al-Shafie, said “The Audi Q5 is considered to be one of the most important production models of this year, as it fulfils all of the diverse needs required by its owners, in everything related to sporty, recreational and family activities.”

The highly-efficient engine of the Audi Q5 with quattro all-wheel drive and a dynamic gearbox capable of quick shift 7-Speed S-tronic transmission, ensures excellent driving performance on the road. The car also has a spacious interior equipped with a wide variety of smart functions and innovative technologies, such as the Audi Drive Select feature, which changes the driving dynamics of the car at the touch of a button from comfort to dynamic or all road performance.

The SUV offers classleading features within its segment, including an aerodynamic shape with a drag coefficient of 0.30, and this, together with a weight reduction of 90kg in comparison to the previous generation, contributes to optimum efficiency. Some of the new technology features offered on the new Q5 include a sensor that allows the ESP program to adapt to the higher center of gravity resulting from heavy loads on the roof, as well as intelligent driver safety features, such as Audi’s advanced park assist with a rear view camera, Audi side assist for blind spot monitoring, and Audi presense, which helps to maintain a distance between the Audi Q5 and the vehicle in front of it.

Other driver convenience features now offered include the Audi virtual cockpit with a navigation system that displays 3D maps, and a high-beam assist feature that automatically switches between high and low light luminance for the headlights.

In terms of infotainment, the multimedia options available in the Audi Q5 include MMI Navigation Plus with intelligent voice command, Apple Car Play, and a Bang & Olufsen Sound System with 3D sound.

The Q5 features a spacious interior with room for up to five people, providing ample luggage space equivalent to a volume of 1550 liters. Wheel options available range from 19 to 21 inches .

In the Middle East, the Audi Q5 is available with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 252 HP from its 2.0 liter capacity. The Audi SQ5 is offered with a turbocharged six-cylinder engine that produces 354 hp from its 3.0 liter capacity. Both engines feature turbocharged fuel stratified Injection (TFSI), which maintains a comfortable engine start and high fuel efficiency.

The all-new Audi Q5 is currently available at the Audi Kuwait Showroom, represented by Fouad Alghanim & Sons Automotive Company. Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Saturday to Thursday.
