KIB takes part in Al-Sidra’s event

KUWAIT: As part of Kuwait International Bank’s (KIB) strategic partnership with Al-Sidra Association for Psychological Care of Cancer Patients, KIB participated with Al- Sidra in the ‘You are precious to us’ event. The event which took place in the State Audit Bureau, featured a number of activities which aimed at promoting the significance of early detection of breast cancer, as well as introducing new methods of treatment and disease prevention.

Corporate Communications Officer at KIB, Amal Bokhamseen, said: “We continue to be dedicated to participating in events that benefit all segments of the local community, with a particular focus on spreading health awareness. As part of our ongoing social responsibility efforts, we devote a particular focus to promoting health consciousness, as evidenced by our track record of activities and initiatives aimed at the local health sector. Bokhamseen added that, as a leading financial institution, KIB continues to be committed to spreading awareness about the importance of early detection of diseases, particularly cancer, as it considers early detection as a key factor in treatment. She also pointed out that the strategic partnership between KIB and Al-Sidra Association reflects the Bank’s strong belief in the positive impact of voluntary work, social and humanitarian initiatives, and psychological care on the health of patients and their treatment.
