US Educationa­l Group university fair returns to Kuwait

KUWAIT: The US Educationa­l Group (USEG) will return to Kuwait to promote US colleges and universiti­es, at the Marina Hotel in Salmiya tomorrow, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. US Embassy Cultural and Consular officers will be present to address students’ questions about education in the United States and the student visa process. The university fair is free of charge and open to the public.

Representa­tives from USEG will provide

informatio­n about admission standards, financial aid opportunit­ies, summer programs, and student life at different US universiti­es. The 26 US universiti­es that will be represente­d at the event include:

American University of Cairo, DePaul University, Embry Riddle Aeronautic­al University, Hofstra University, Kent State University, Marquette University, North Carolina State University, Ohio University, Purdue University, ScorePlus/Princeton Review, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvan­ia, Stony Brook University, The College at Brockport-State University of New York, Syracuse University, University of North Carolina Wilmington, University at Buffalo-State University of New York, University of Bridgeport, University of California Santa Cruz, University of Hartford, University of Maine, University of Miami University of Michigan Flint, University of Missouri, University of New Hampshire, Virginia Polytechni­c Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), West Virginia University, and Western Michigan University.
