Company chosen best Arab firm; CEO among top 100 in Arab world
MARRAKESH: Bukhamseen Holding Group was awarded as the best Arab company and its CEO Emad Bukhamseen was also awarded amongst the top 100 Arab CEOs this year during the Arab Best Award ceremony held in Marrakesh on Monday with the participation of Arab industrial, services and financial establishments’ directors and CEOs. Speaking on the occasion, Bukhamseen stressed that the award was the result of the administration pattern used by the group according to modern managerial principles based on planning, directing and teamwork spirit. Bukhamseen added that the group’s sectors function according to a comprehensive vision focusing on human resources as the base of any corporate success. He also pointed out that the group exerts a lot of efforts to develop human resources and attract new competent staff. “The group has over 25,000 employees and is working on recruiting more youth in various branches to provide more job opportunities to national workers as instructed by His Highness the Amir, who has called for supporting the youth,” he said. The award’s secretary general Abdullah Abdul Kareem said selecting the Arab Best Award winners is subject to qualitative and quantitative elements of assessment of success, competence, achievements, development of work systems, staff efficiency and managerial patterns. “All these elements were found in the group, and this made the award’s experts committee choose it as the best Arab company and its CEO as the best Arab CEO,” he said. Notably, the award was launched in 2016, giving three awards for leadership, business and to celebrities with the aim of rewarding excellence and creativity in the Arab world and encouraging competence amongst various companies, establishments and NGOs, with the ultimate goal of achieving development.
