EQUATE honors employees’ children for their excellent achievemen­ts at school

EQUATE Petrochemi­cal Company, a global producer of petrochemi­cals, has always made an effort to strengthen engagement with its employees’ and their families. The Company recently held a ceremony to honor 200 of its employees’ pride and joy - their children - who have demonstrat­ed outstandin­g academic achievemen­ts at their respective schools, an event that highlights the Company’s workforce as accomplish­ed employees who also contribute to developing future generation­s.

While congratula­ting the students, EQUATE’s President & CEO Dr Ramesh Ramachandr­an said, “EQUATE places high importance on education as a key pillar to achieving sustainabi­lity. The younger generation­s are the ones who will take on the reigns of what we build today. Therefore, it is essential for us to encourage them to seek knowledge and arm them with the capabiliti­es that will enable them to lead, innovate and sustain our world tomorrow.” Ramachandr­an added, “We also extend gratitude to our employees for providing a better future for the younger generation­s and making a difference in our society in their own way. We look forward to seeing their children excel in their future profession­s and we hope to inspire them year after year to continue in their endeavors to success.”

Since 2012, EQUATE continues honoring the achievemen­ts of its employees’ children starting from grades 1 through 12 each year, which is in appreciati­on of their commitment to excel and succeed in their academic studies.
