Motul at the heart of 2018 MotoGP action
KUWAIT: MotoGP, the highest-revving, fastest, most-exciting motorcycling championship in the world has roared back into life with Qatar and Argentina races and Motul will once again be at the heart of the action. 24 riders, 12 teams, 6 different manufacturers and 24,000 horsepower will line up for the 2018 MotoGP season, and the always-present thrills and sometimes-present spills will be seen this year at 19 races across 15 different countries across the globe. The calendar has increased this year with the addition of the Thailand Grand Prix in Buriram.
Motul will once again be title sponsor of four races through the season starting with the second round, the Gran Premio Motul de la Rep˙blica Argentina (April 8th in Termas de Rio Hondo), then Motul TT Assen (1st July in the Netherlands), Motul Grand Prix of Japan (21st October at Twin Ring
Motegi) and rounding off an action-packed championship with the Gran Premio
Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana (18th November in Valencia, Spain).
Motul will again partner with three teams, the two factory teams Suzuki
MotoGP and Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, as well as Yamaha satellite team Monster Yamaha Tech3. Leading the way in testing in Thailand and Qatar, and making himself favorite for victory, is 2017 Rookie of the Year Johann Zarco from Yamaha Tech3. All three Motul supported teams will use special experimental engine oils which have been developed by Motul experts, in collaboration with Suzuki, Yamaha, and Aprilia’s engineers and engine builders, specifically to respond to the extreme conditions and restraints presented by MotoGP competition. They will also all use products from Motul’s comprehensive MC Care Range.
Motul is supporting those teams in international competitions such as: 24 Hours of Le Mans (cars and motorcycles), FIA World Endurance Championship, Super GT, Drift, Pikes Peak, Japanese championship Super Formula, Blancpain Endurance Series, Dakar, Tour Auto, Le Mans Classic, MotoGP, World Superbike, World MX, FIM Endurance World Championship, IOM TT, MOTUL FIM Ice Speedway Gladiators World Championship, Roof of Africa and score of others.
Al-Sayer Engineering, a subsidiary of AlSayer Holding is the authorized distributor for Motul in Kuwait. Technologically leading products from Motul lubricants will be available for customers at Al-Sayer Engineering’s wide network of five centers for tires, oils and paints as well as in authorized dealers, co-ops, garages and Auto-repair shops across the State of Kuwait.
