Ooredoo and Huawei discuss 5G, IoT and AI

KUWAIT CITY: Ooredoo Kuwait attended a special series of presentati­ons organized by strategic partner Huawei. The “Ooredoo Huawei Mobile Kuwait Congress 2018” held at Huawei’s Head Office in Kuwait last week, was attended by Ooredoo’s Technology and Strategy Department­s, and included in-depth discussion­s and live demonstrat­ions on the latest industry trends and innovative technologi­es.

As part of the event, the two partners discussed the future generation of mobile internet 5G Network, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligen­ce, trends that are dominating the worldwide discussion of mobile telecommun­ication. The Internet of Things is projected to have substantia­l leading growth by the year 2020. The technology is expected to play an integral part in a variety of sectors, such as healthcare, transporta­tion, and services sector.
