INJAZ honors students of ‘Company Program’
INJAZ Kuwait has successfully concluded its annual Company Program Competition (CPC). The award ceremony for the winning student companies was held at Salwa Sabah Al Ahmed Hall, Marina Hotel on 21 April 2018, in the presence of INJAZ Kuwait representatives, judges, partners, sponsors, school representatives, and representatives from the local media. During this year’s Company Program Competition, 21 student companies were featured with a total of 200 participating students from private and public schools and universities competing for the “Best Student Company of 2018” award
During the ceremony, the winners of the Company Program Competition were announced. Gulf Bank of Kuwait sponsored the “Best Student Company of 2018” award the winners in the university category went to “Be You”, while “Re-al “claimed the prize for the high school category. The two winning companies will be representing Kuwait in the INJAZ Al-Arab regional competition, which will be held in Kuwait this year. The ‘Most Innovative Product’ award, which was sponsored by Zain, was given to “Portage” in the university category and to “Biotensils” in the high school category. Finally, the ‘Student Company with the Best Social Impact’ award sponsored by Alghanim Industries, went to “Be You” for the university category and “Biotensils” for the high school category.
Laila Al-Mutairi, INJAZ Kuwait CEO, expressed her happiness as she congratulated the winners of the competition saying, “We are pleased to celebrate the successful conclusion of INJAZ Kuwait’s Company Program, which is INJAZ-Kuwait’s flagship programs and the most popular among students. We seek to reward ambitious youth who aspire to establish their own private businesses in the future, to be tomorrow’s pioneers and business leaders. I would like to congratulate the winning teams for their exceptional performance. They have established themselves and their businesses in a leading position to compete, both locally and regionally.”
