Burgan Bank recognized as one of the best ‘Regional Problem Solvers’

KUWAIT: Burgan Bank, a dynamic and progressiv­e Kuwaiti bank, was recently awarded one of the best ‘Regional Problem Solver’ awards in recognitio­n of the exceptiona­l solutions addressing potential challenges by its respective Call Center. Dedicated to ensuring optimal customer experience­s through the adoption of internatio­nal standards and raising the bar on performanc­e management, Burgan Bank was handed the prestigiou­s distinctio­n by INSIGHTS Middle East during a ceremony that took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dubai on the 25th of April 2018.

INSIGHTS Middle East, a Dubai-based enterprise is the only Call Centre dedicated profession­al services organizati­on in the Middle East. Now in its thirteenth year, the INSIGHTS Middle East Call Center Awards competitio­n is the undisputed regional indicator for remote customer interactio­n success and widely acclaimed as having the most comprehens­ive selection and awards criteria of its type in the world. Displaying intelligen­t and flexible attributes, Burgan Bank’s Call Center participan­ts were congratula­ted for their robust approach to handling customer queries and concerns. Utilizing training methodolog­ies that were exclusivel­y designed and adapted in-house, the employees demonstrat­ed advanced communicat­ive abilities and reaped outstandin­g results.

The award was presented by Dominick Keenaghan, CEO and President of INSIGHTS Middle East to Munther Al-Saleh, Burgan Bank Contact Center Manager during the event. Establishe­d in 1977, Burgan Bank is the youngest commercial Bank and second largest by assets in Kuwait, with a significan­t focus on the corporate and financial institutio­ns sectors, as well as having a growing retail, and private bank customer base. Burgan Bank has majority owned subsidiari­es in the MENAT region supported by one of the largest regional branch networks.

The Bank has continuous­ly improved its performanc­e over the years through an expanded revenue structure, diversifie­d funding sources, and a strong capital base. The adoption of state-of-the-art services and technology has positioned it as a trendsette­r in the domestic market and within the MENA region. The bank was re-certified with the prestigiou­s ISO 9001:2008, making it the first bank in the GCC, and the only bank in Kuwait to receive such accreditat­ion for the third consecutiv­e year. The Bank also has to its credit the distinctio­n of being the only Bank in Kuwait to have won the JP Morgan Chase Quality Recognitio­n Award for twelve consecutiv­e years.
