Huawei CBG holds workshops for youth on smartphone photography
KUWAIT: Huawei CBG, the global smartphone giant recently held smartphone photography workshops that focused on empowering young Kuwaiti photography enthusiasts with the latest skills to allow them to take perfect pictures from their mobile phones. Attendees at the series of workshops had a chance to experience the stunning and breakthrough features of HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro, HUAWEI P20 Pro and HUAWEI nova 3 series that are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“We’ve received overwhelming response at the workshops with full attendance at every session. Huawei CBG has always been committed to youth enrichment and to local market development. We focus on offering the best consumer experience possible by localizing the interaction we have with our customers. These interactive sessions allowed the young residents to learn about the latest techniques of smartphone photography when using Huawei devices. The workshops have been a huge success so far. Participants had the opportunity to experience HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro, HUAWEI P20 Pro and HUAWEI nova 3 series that are all powered by Artificial Intelligence in its overall functionality and the cameras are enabled with AI beautification solutions, AI scene recognition with exceptional AI night photography,’’ Peter Wu, Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Kuwait.
A series of five workshops were initiated since March this year with the last one held recently in association with Saad Club, Kuwait. Huawei CBG collaborated with Kuwaiti Celebrity Photographer, Abdullah Al-Shayji to explore the breakthrough camera technology used by Huawei across its devices. AlShayji was supported by an associate photographer, Abdul Rehman Al-Badeh at the workshops. Al-Badeh shared his experience by showcasing the benefits of Leica camera on the Huawei devices that are enabled with Artificial Intelligence. These devices also offer AI beautification solutions that recognize age, gender, skin tone to optimize the photos. In addition, the AI powered scene recognition and low light photography feature allows consumers to capture the outstanding shots in one click.
“We will soon bring the next series of workshops and encourage photography enthusiasts to join as to upgrade their mobile photography skills,” added Wu.
