GBK concludes inaugural direct sales academy program

KUWAIT: Gulf Bank recently concluded its first Direct Sales Academy Program that saw new trainees attend a month-long program, which aimed at the expanding of the trainee’s horizon in fields that are crucial for their success in their future role as Direct Sales Officers. In line with Gulf Bank’s vision to position itself as an employer of choice for nationals, the program aimed to build knowledge, expertise, and skills to empower a new batch of Kuwaiti potentials that will join the Bank’s Direct Sales workforce.

General Manager of Human Resources Mrs Salma AlHajjaj stated, “We are proud to empower Kuwaiti talents that are keen to raise the bar of customer excellence in the field of banking.” Further stating, “At Gulf Bank we believe that when we empower our Kuwaiti talents, and train them to the right level, they are more than capable of achieving the targets that the Banking sector is based upon.”

Echoing this view Mrs Jennah Al-Mattar Assistant General Manager - Head of Learning and Developmen­t stated, “The Direct Sales Academy was an innovative program that will help increase the number of Kuwaitis in the banking sector, as it opens up the doors for a greater number to be employed in an area that in the past many were reluctant to join.” As part of its commitment to the wider society, Gulf Bank always seeks to hire, train, and retain the most competent national caliber, and seeks to provide opportunit­ies for growth and developmen­t across all levels to its staff in order to enhance the services that it provides to its esteemed clients.
