Zain concludes strategic partnership of 7th Youth Empowerment Symposium
KUWAIT: Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, concluded its strategic partnership of the seventh Youth Empowerment Symposium held at Four Seasons Hotel under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from 5-6 November with the attendance of Zain Kuwait’s Chief Executive Officer Eaman Al-Roudhan. Zain’s strategic partnership of the Youth Empowerment Symposium for the seventh consecutive year came in line with the company’s long term strategy of providing the necessary support to national initiatives aimed at uplifting the capabilities and skills of Kuwaiti youth. The company has always been a main supporter of such national academic initiatives that cater to developing and nurturing the skills of Kuwait’s youth to help empower them in the community for a better tomorrow.
The Youth Empowerment Symposium’s second day program witnessed the participation of Zain Kuwait’s Chief Technical Officer Nawaf Al-Gharabally in the fifth panel discussion entitled “Youth Opportunities in the Private Sector.” During the panel discussion, Gharabally affirmed Zain’s role as a leading private sector company in supporting national talents, presenting them with technical and administrative career opportunities, as well as continuously offering adequate training programs to nurture their skills. Gharabally also stressed on the importance of attracting local talents and giving them the responsibility to flourish and contribute in achieving the company’s strategic goals.
The Youth Empowerment Symposium, held 5-6 November, provided local youth with an ideal opportunity to gain valuable insights from a number of internationally and locally renowned industry pioneers, academics, and experts. This year’s speakers included Mitch Lowe, CEO of Movie Pass, former co-founding executive of Netflix and former President of Redbox, Jason Wheeler former Vice President of Finance at Google and former Chief Financial Officer of Tesla Motors, and more.
Zain’s presence in this national event showcased the company’s dedication to empowering the entrepreneurial skills of youth in Kuwait. The symposium delivered outstanding knowledge to talented young people to be able to progress in their fields of interest as well as to spark the light of enthusiasm within them.
