The main topics covered during this event were about the 4 year Planning University Process, College Admission Regional Requirements, College Search: Bridge U Program College and Career Exploration Tools, College Entrance exams (PSAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, ILETS) and Student Visas, types of universities and colleges, getting an early start, Ministry requirements, tuition and living expenses, and finally Testing Prep by the Princeton Review Master Trainer Dennis Ortiz who said “Sunday evening’s College and University night was a great opportunity to connect with students and their parents.
Many times the admissions process is such a mystery to parents, especially if they have never sent off a child to college before. This was an opportunity for all stakeholders in the process to answer wildly varying questions. Test preparation is such a central piece of the puzzle that I enjoyed very much fielding questions and allaying parental concerns”.
