KUWAIT: Yusuf A Alghanim & Sons Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in Kuwait, hosted its third annual “Discover America” event on November 6th, where Chevrolet commemorated the longstanding ties between the two countries and showcased its most popular cars in a brand new style to its Kuwaiti audience at the Safat Alghanim showroom in Al-Rai. Among the attendees at the event were Lawrence R Silverman, the United States Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, representatives of Chevrolet Alghanim, the esteemed media, and loyal Chevrolet customers who gathered to celebrate the United States’ forward-thinking innovation and technical ingenuity in the automotive world.
Abdallah Mouazzen, the Senior General Manager at Chevrolet Alghanim, took the stage to welcome the guests and introduce Ambassador Silverman, the event’s guest of honor, who in turn expressed his gratitude toward the people of Kuwait and their undiminishing love of American automobiles. Packing the potent 6.2-litre V-8 that also powers the iconic Corvette Stingray, the Tahoe RST boasts 420 hp channeled to all four wheels via General Motors’ all-new HydraMatic 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission. To ensure exceptional handling without sacrificing ride quality or comfort, the Tahoe RST comes equipped with Magnetic Ride Control suspension. Further, the ZR1 elevates Corvette’s track capability with two wind tunnel-honed aerodynamics packages, including an available High Wing that provides an estimated 950 pounds (430.91 Kgs) of downforce.
