Embassy of Palestine in Kuwait launches ‘Color of Palestine’
Embassy of Palestine in Kuwait in corporation with Kuwait Journalist Association is proud to launch “Color of Palestine” student art competition under the patronage of Ministry of Education. The contest aims at making students in Kuwait more aware of the heritage, cultures and civilizations of other countries. The contests slogan motivates students to express their knowledge of Palestine State through art. Participants can draw about heritage, culture, waterfalls, Dead Sea & the natural beauty and history of Palestine.
Palestine does have lots more to offer besides religious and historical attractions. The theme for the art competition encourages students to express their knowledge of Palestine by drawing an icon, a natural scene, or any other expression they would find suitable for above titled. Participants can draw touristic, environmental or civilization pieces or icons or symbols that reflect the competitions slogan.
The contest will run from December 8 till January 20, 2019, and is open to students from all schools in Kuwait including special needs under the following age categories: 6 to 9 yrs old, 10 to 13yrs old, 14 to 17 yrs old. Drawing sheets will be offered to participants free of charge. The committee will be consisting of expert artists who will select and choose the best artwork according to the category, which will have 10 winners each.
The top 10 winners from each category will be given valuable prizes and certificates. Furthermore, certificates will be given to the schools for their honorable participation. The closing ceremony and the event will take place under the patronage of Minister of Education. In addition, ambassadors, sponsors, school principals and art teachers, winners accompanied with their parents along with Arabic and English media and TV will be invited for the event.
