Summary of DWC meeting

On Tuesday 4th December 2018, the executive members of DWC held a preparatory meeting regarding the upcoming Lunch Event slated for 15 December, 2018 and other related activities. The meeting was chaired by Counselor of the Committee, Madam Narges Al Shatti. The purpose of the event was to brief the wives of Ambassadors and female Diplomats in Kuwait, about the objectives and activities of DWC in Kuwait and to encourage invited guests to become members of the Committee. Among other things, the following were discussed and agreed upon:

1. Location: Location of the venue to be approved by Madam Al Shatti

2. Speech: The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan is to deliver a speech on behalf of DWC on the following subject: Kuwait and Diplomatic Relations; and Discover Kuwait

3. Media: Fouzia was put in charge of media to display the logo and application of DWC on the screen

4. Entertainment: Oman Air has proposed to assist the Committee with a raffle draw followed by a presentation by Najdah on tourism

5. Registration for Membership: Applications for membership are be distributed to guests during the program and be collected

6. Invitations: Invitation cards for the program are to be sent by email to all Embassies in Kuwait and follow-up should be made.
