Zain sponsors first Student Excellence Program in California
KUWAIT: Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, announced its main sponsorship of the first Student Excellence Program organized by Sema, a non-profit organization, in collaboration with the General Consulate of Kuwait in Los Angeles. The event, held in Silicon Valley - California, came under the patronage and attendance of the Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Los Angeles Faisal Al-Houli.
During the event, Chief Executive Officer of Zain Kuwait Eaman Al-Roudhan recognized a number of distinguished Kuwaiti students studying in the United States. The recognition ceremony witnessed the presence of Houli, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Zain Kuwait’s Chief Corporate Communications and Relations Officer Waleed Al-Khashti.
Zain’s support to the event came in line with its Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility strategy, which closely focuses on contributing to the development of the education sector and the encouragement of various student activities.
