Gulf Bank’s AGM becomes first Kuwaiti AGM to lecture at IBS

Bader Al-Ali chosen as key lecturer by IBS for certificat­ion program

KUWAIT: Gulf Bank is proud to announce its participat­ion in a training workshop organized by the Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies, inviting Gulf Bank’s Bader Al-Ali, Assistant General Manager Operations, as the key lecturer of their new certificat­ion program. Al-Ali becomes the first Kuwaiti AGM to have been chosen by the IBS to be a key lecturer at the institute as part of the Branch Operation Certificat­ion (CBBOM).

A newly created certificat­ion, the Branch Operation Certificat­ion (CBBOM), consists of two modules, taught by Al-Ali and an internatio­nal expert in the field. An expert in his field, Al-Ali’s role at the bank, alongside his many years of his experience, are indicative of his knowledge within the realm of bank operations. Al-Ali has been selected based on his expertise in the field, as well as his local market knowledge.

The lecture aligns with Gulf Bank’s policy of investing in staff expertise, reaffirmin­g the bank’s commitment to training and empowering Kuwaiti talent, and continuous aspiration to develop staff across all fields. Al-Ali’s vast knowledge and experience within the local market, will allow him to tailor his teachings to students, providing them with hands-on experience and insights into the field of study. By investing in current and future knowledge, the Bank is able to elevate the banking sector across the board.

Al-Ali’s involvemen­t with the Institute of Banking Studies, is an integral part of Gulf Bank’s commitment to give back to the local banking community and falls within the Bank’s year-long Corporate Social Responsibi­lity drive.
