Cul­tural fes­ti­val marked with unique books’ gallery

KUWAIT: A gallery dis­play­ing unique Kuwaiti books, manuscripts and doc­u­ments, opened re­cently at the Na­tional Li­brary of Kuwait, de­pict­ing the keen­ness on pre­serv­ing the coun­try’s her­itage. Some of the pub­li­ca­tions on dis­play be­long to the rul­ing fam­ily, in­clud­ing copies of the Holy Qu­ran and in­ter­pre­ta­tion books of the holy book. The ex­hi­bi­tion is held in line with an ini­tia­tive by the 25th AlQu­rain Cul­tural Fes­ti­val to shed light on the gen­uine Kuwaiti cul­ture and his­tory, as ad­vo­cated by the Na­tional Coun­cil of Cul­ture, Arts and Let­ters (NCCAL). — KUNA
