New student credits transfer rules

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Education Minister Dr Hamed Al-Azmi has approved new guidelines over academic credit transfer and accumulation systems for students pursuing post-secondary education abroad. The new rules are meant to ensure a higher quality of education through regulating the process of academic credit transfer, the minister said in a statement yesterday. The guidelines meet world-class standards in education to help Kuwait students excel in their academic careers, he added, promising similar reforms as part of an education overhaul. —KUNA
