Marina Hotel Kuwait receives medals at HORECA Kuwait 2019

Marina Hotel Kuwait recently participated in HORECA Kuwait 2019, the largest international trade show for hotels, restaurants, catering, food and hospitality services in the region. During the event, there was a culinary art show, where chefs from several hotels, restaurants and cafes in Kuwait participated in various exciting competitions to showcase their astonishing skills. The competitions were evaluated by international judges from Europe, Middle East and the Far East.

Marina Hotel chefs took part in various display competitions in which they won several medals including one gold medal in six-course set dinner menu, one silver medal in plated dessert presentation, one silver medal in Asian cuisine, and a bronze medal in the Arabic cold and hot appetizer. Housekeeping department has also participated in some competitions and won 1 gold medal and1 bronze medal.

Marina Hotel Kuwait General Manager, Nabil Hammoud strongly praised the HORECA Kuwait comprehensive exhibition covering the hospitality, catering and food industry sectors in Kuwait and GCC. He noted that HORECA is a very popular event that takes place every year and provides a golden opportunity to exchange expertise and build future business opportunities.

On the occasion of winning awards this year, he said: “Besides being talented, our chefs are very ambitious which makes them strive to succeed and deliver. We are very proud of their achievement and will continue to empower them to bring their best selves.” In partnership with the leading Lebanese company Hospitality Services and Leaders Group, HORECA Exhibition is held annually in Kuwait.
