ACK students hosted for internship at Think Tank Management Consulting
Four Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) students were hosted for an internship by Think Tank Management Consulting and Dr Manal AlHasawi at their company’s premise. During the internship the students were tasked with the planning and hosting of different events at Think Tank Management Consulting.
The experience provided valuable insight for the trainees in event planning and management. According to the interns, the value of the experience was further strengthened by the positive work environment at Think Tank Management Consulting. The interns remarked that the work environment enabled flexibility and the art of thinking outside the box, which helped them refine their skill-sets and learn more effectively during their internship.
The comradely between the company’s employees also left a positive impact on the interns, who appreciated the good relationship between the employees and their managers. “Overall I really liked working there, the workplace is like a family between the employees and managers,” said Abdullah Al Shammari, one of the interns. ACK strives to increase opportunities for students to take part in vocational training in order to better develop their professional skills. It offers many opportunities for students in different majors to get hands-on practice in their field before they graduate.
