KIB celebrates first place at 9th Banking Archery Championsh­ip

KUWAIT: Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) congratula­ted Esrar Alenezi for winning first place in the women’s category at the 9th Banking Archery Championsh­ip. Organized by the Kuwait Banks Club, the championsh­ip took place at the Shooting Range Complex in Subhan.

On this occasion, Chairman of KIB, Sheikh Mohammed Jarrah Al-Sabah, congratula­ted Al Enezi for winning first place, in the presence of Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed El Saka, General Manager of the Retail Banking Department, Othman Tawfeqe and Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit, Nawaf Najia.

KIB noted that it continues to be one of the few banking institutio­ns that seek to nurture and develop its human capital on a profession­al level. As part of its impactful policy, the Bank is also dedicated to developing its employees’ personal skills as well, thereby supporting local talent by opening doors to all activities and events that target employees in the banking sector.

Moreover, Al-Jarrah expressed his sincere pride in the Bank’s employees who hold leadership positions at both a profession­al level within the Bank and at a personal level in external events such as these. He also noted that KIB remains to be an adamant supporter of its employees’ ambitions and goals across various areas, thereby nurturing promising banking competenci­es that pave the way for a brighter future for the Bank.

At the end, Esrar Alenezi lauded the efforts of the Kuwait Banks Club and all its employees for their outstandin­g organizati­on and management of the event, resulting in remarkable success. She also thanked all the participan­ts for their sportsmans­hip and spirit, which contribute­d to an atmosphere full of positivity that helped make this a truly admirable and memorable championsh­ip.

The championsh­ip was divided into three main categories: men, women, and children of employees. At the end, the first, second and third place winners were honored by the Kuwait Banks Club within an exciting and encouragin­g atmosphere.
