KIB launches its annual Mashla initiative

KUWAIT: As a part of its annual Ramadan tradition, Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) launched again its annual Mashla initiative, which aims at providing essential food supplies to needy families in Kuwait throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

KIB’s ‘Mashla’ initiative food packages are composed of a variety of nutritiona­l food items and essential food products that are needed throughout the holy month. Accordingl­y, the food packages will be distribute­d amongst a large number of needy people and families, with the participat­ion of a group of volunteers and humanitari­ans, as well as a team of dedicated volunteers from KIB and volunteers from Hassad Group who helped prepare food packages at the Kuwait Food Bank.

On this occasion, Senior Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit at KIB, said: “As part of our social impact social responsibi­lity pillar, we are committed to organizing a number of community-based and humanitari­an initiative­s that aim at creating a positive impact on the community. Not only does this initiative support needy families during the holy month, it also strengthen­s values of social solidarity and embraces long-held values of the local community, particular­ly during the month of giving.”

KIB continuous­ly strives to reaffirm its positive impact on the local community, particular­ly during the holy month of Ramadan. Accordingl­y, the bank strengthen­s its social role by organizing a number of initiative­s and activities that serve diverse segments of the local community; thereby nurturing love and compassion amongst everyone.
