Bahrain’s Premier hails ties with Kuwait

MANAMA: Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, yesterday hailed the deep-rooted BahrainiKu­waiti fraternal ties that are beyond the descriptio­n of any words. The Bahrain News Agency quoted him as saying that the sisterly State of Kuwait, its leadership and people, occupy the most precious place in the soul and spirit. He praised the supportive stances of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah for Bahrain in all circumstan­ces. His statements came upon reception of Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain Sheikh

Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah who greeted the Premier, marking the end of his diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom. The Bahraini premier expressed deep gratitude and appreciati­on of Ambassador Azzam’s efforts throughout his term in the kingdom in consolidat­ing the cooperatio­n between the two countries, extolling at the same time the ambassador’s expertise and efficiency, wishing him success.

Meanwhile, the ambassador expressed his deep gratitude and appreciati­on to the Premier for his patronage and diligence on boosting the two countries’ fraternal ties. He also praised the Premier and the Bahraini government for support that contribute­d a lot to his successful mission. The ambassador said, “You are the best supporter to bolstering the bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries, and your stances are accorded huge esteem in Kuwait from His Highness the Amir and all Kuwaiti citizens, and your love pulsates in every Kuwaiti’s heart and whenever the name of Bahrain is mentioned in Kuwait, they do mention Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.” —KUNA
