Gulf hajj meeting aims to benefit from various experiences: Kuwaiti official
MAKKAH: Head of the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission Farid Emadi yesterday stressed the importance of the meetings of those involved in Hajj affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, in order to benefit from the various experiences. This came in a statement to the press after presiding over the meeting of heads of missions of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries hosted by the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission at its headquarters in Makkah.
“Each country has its own useful experiences that can be shared so that we can achieve the best performance and to offer better services for the pilgrims till they return home safely,” Emadi said. He praised the great efforts exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for harnessing all its capabilities so that pilgrims can perform Hajj without any problems or obstacles. He pointed out that the services provided by Saudi Arabia are great and innovative. “Every year Saudi Arabia comes up with new creations and ideas, as well as the use of electronic systems and smart applications,” he added, pointing out that the Kingdom seeks to adapt technology to serve pilgrims and facilitate their rituals.
