Hameem and Qattan perform in Kuwait

Around 2,000 people attended a concert by Aseel Hameem and Hamad Al-Qattan on Monday at Jumeirah Hotel. This was the first Aseel concert in Kuwait, and she later said she was surprised by the great attendance by her fans in Kuwait and their interaction with her during the entire show. The concert started at 9:00 pm with the young Kuwaiti singer and composer Qattan, who presented some of his new and old songs.

Hamad started his career as a composer in 2011. Later, he released singles, most of which became hits on radio and he became very popular, especially among the youth. He also sang a few songs of popular Kuwaiti singers such as Abdullah Al-Ruwaished and others. Qattan concluded

his performance at 10:15 pm.

At 11:00 pm, the young Iraqi singer Hameem came onstage and her fans welcomed her by loudly screaming her name. She expressed her happiness for performing in Kuwait for the first time, and promised this won’t be the last. Besides her popular songs, which the audience demanded her to sing, she also sang a song by the popular Kuwaiti singer Nawal, and other old songs. She concluded her performance at 12:30 am.

Hameem launched her career in 2008 with a song in a Kuwaiti soap opera, followed by soap operas of other GCC countries. She has released over 30 songs till date, including some collaborative songs with other singers.
