KUWAIT: Kuwait has continued distribution of humanitarian aid to people in need in many parts of the region last week, helping Syrian refugees and Yemenis who are living amidst an armed conflict in their country. Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) joined hands with Jordanian Red Crescent and distributed clothes and meat to 2,200 Syrian and Jordanian families during the Eid AlAdha holiday. The three-day humanitarian campaign, which began on first day of Eid Al-Adha, aims at giving clothes to Syrian orphans and refugees living in camps dotted around Amman. This campaign will benefit 700 families, said Hayat Marzouq, head of the KRCS team. Marzouq said this campaign also included distribution of meat to 1,500 Syrian and Jordanian families during Eid Al-Adha holiday. She thanked Jordan’s Red Crescent for their logistical support that contributed to delivery of aid for people in need.
