Kuwait Amir congratula­tes Saudi King on national day

Sheikh Sabah commends ‘noticeable developmen­t’ in the kingdom

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah addressed a cable of congratula­tions to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the 89th anniversar­y of the kingdom’s national day. His Highness the Amir, in the cable, commended the noticeable developmen­t and civil accomplish­ments in the kingdom in various spheres, boosting further its aloft regional-internatio­nal status. His Highness the Amir has affirmed that the Kuwaiti-Saudi relations have been deeprooted and historic, wishing the monarch lasting wellbeing and the kingdom as well as the graceful Saudi people further prosperity and promotion under the sagacious leadership.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent an identical cable to the Saudi King. Furthermor­e, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah addressed a similar cable to King Salman, while Kuwait’s National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem sent a cable congratula­ting Abdullah Al-Sheikh, President of Al-Shurra Council of Saudi Arabia.

In the meantime, Acting Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratula­tions to Saudi Arabia Deputy Prime Minister Crown Prince and Defense Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud marking the kingdom’s 89th national day. In a statement, the Ministry of Defense said Sheikh Nasser expressed best wishes for the kingdom and prosperity under the wise leadership of the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — founded by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahma­n Al Saud - marks today its 89th anniversar­y of establishm­ent via celebratin­g its long history of achievemen­ts and progress. Saudi Arabia has pursued its prosperous march since establishm­ent with current King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud continuing the legacy of developmen­t on all possible domains. King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman were chiefly responsibl­e for Vision 2030, a plan focused on utilizing the potential of the Saudi people, namely the youth, in bolstering the Kingdom’s economic sector.

While Saudi Arabia as distinguis­h relations with neighbors and the world, Saudi-Kuwaiti relations in particular is exemplary in terms of brotherhoo­d and mutual respect. The leadership­s in both nations are keen on prosperity of their own respective people, the region, and the world and that is all due to the strong links between His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah and his brother King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, two leaders working for the betterment of their countries, their neighbors, and the internatio­nal community.
