Sixteen Kuwaiti projects at Milset Expo
KUWAIT: Twenty Kuwaiti student from Ministry of Education and Special Education Schools are participating at the Milset ExpoSciences International (ESI) 2019 held in Abu Dhabi, with 16 technical and applied projects. Head of Kuwaiti students delegation Shaikha Al-Zoubi, said that this Expo is a great opportunity for the students to meet with about 1350 worldwide young people representing more than 58 countries between the ages of 9-25 years, in addition to a selection of experts, teachers, educators and creators in the largest non-competitive global exhibition that supports cooperation and scientific research among all countries of the world. The Kuwaiti participation reflects the great interest and keenness in qualifying students through programs and activities, she said.
The formation of the student delegation has gone through several stages through which for selecting outstanding students, to give them the opportunity to represent Kuwait in this international scientific expo, Zoubi said. The Expo would highlight students’ efforts and provides them with great opportunities to gain more experience at international level, she said. Adding it would enhances the visibility of their personal knowledge and raise the flag of Kuwait globally. The Milset Expo-Sciences International (ESI) 2019 is the largest event in UAE focusing exclusively on the scientific creativity of young aspirant scientists from all over the world. ESI is an initiative of the International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology (MILSET), a non-governmental, non-profit and politically independent youth organization, which aims at developing scientific culture among young people through the organization of science-andtechnology programs.
