Egyptian President congratulates Kuwait on National days
CAIRO: Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi congratulated Kuwait, His Highness the Amir, government and people on the 59th National Day and the 29th Liberation Day anniversaries. The remarks were made during a reception that the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mohammad Al-Thuwaikh held for the Egyptian Presidential Secretary Counselor Ahmad Al-Ansari, as a representative of President Sisi, who visited the embassy to convey Sisi’s congratulations on Kuwait’s National holidays.
“Through our presence in Cairo, we have become accustomed to a brotherly gesture by President Sisi, where he offered his congratulations and blessings to Kuwait leadership, government and people on this occasion,” Ambassador Thuwaikh said. The ambassador added that Ansari’s visit indicates how great the sentiments and appreciation by the Egyptian leader, the Egyptian government, and the Egyptian people are towards their brothers in Kuwait, “and this is not usually strange to them.”
Thuwaikh conveyed this “dear occasion” with the warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah. The ambassador noted that during the next few days, the joint high committee between the two countries will hold the meetings of its 13th session, during which several agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed.
