Firefighters were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report about a 37-year-old Kuwaiti man who went missing after going for a swim. The fire was contained without reporting any casualties, KFSD said in a press statement. Meanwhile, firefighters battled a blaze that broke out in a sixth-floor apartment in Farwaniya. Jleeb AlShuyoukh and Sabhan fire teams rushed to the scene and immediately evacuated the 10-storey building before putting out the flames. No injuries were reported. Case were filed and further investigations are in progress to determine the cause of the fires.

Separately, two trucks collided along Jassem AlKharafi Road (Sixth Ring Road) opposite Sabah AlNasser, KFSD said, noting that one of the trucks caught fire and two people were trapped inside until fire teams managed to rescue them and contain the flames.
