Gulf Bank organizes a new series of GB Masterclas­s

On the occasion of approachin­g the holy month of Ramadan, and as part of its continuous efforts to engage with the community, Gulf Bank organized a new GB Masterclas­s series, in cooperatio­n with a group of experts specialize­d in various fields. The classes include a series of chapters, where each chapter highlights a specific discipline that is presented by a specialize­d expert. The aim is to develop the participan­ts’ capabiliti­es, increase their skills, and enhance their knowledge.

The lasted Masterclas­s series offered a special course about hospitalit­y during the month of Ramadan, in collaborat­ion with the certified Hospitalit­y Trainer, Alia Madouh, who gave two lectures to 30 female participan­ts in each lecture. The course dealt with many aspects and tips on preparing and assembling for the month of Ramadan, of which included: Arranging the living room, preparing the prayer corner, arranging flowers, and ways to prepare the Iftar table, sweets, and drinks after Iftar.

On this occasion, Assistant Manager of Corporate Communicat­ions, Abdullah Al-Mulaifi said: “Gulf Bank is keen to interact and communicat­e with the local community throughout the year and across various occasions. Through the GB Masterclas­s, we are able to consolidat­e the principles of sustainabi­lity - and our position in the community - through a series of selected high-caliber programs.”

He continued: “Gulf Bank’s initiative to organize the GB Masterclas­s series stemmed from its keenness to engage with the local community, and we were keen to seek the assistance of specialize­d experts who possess extensive experience across the fields selected for this series.”

Al-Mulaifi also indicated that the Bank plans to host a new series every once in a while, exploring various specialtie­s such as cooking, photograph­y, flower arrangemen­ts, design and elegance, calligraph­y, and other areas that the public are interested in learning more about. The duration of each class is two hours long. He added: “We are proud of what we have achieved in terms of establishi­ng an active presence in society throughout the year 2022. We look forward to more interactio­ns with the public, through hosting initiative­s that meet their needs and aspiration­s. This helps us achieve our goal of engaging and interactin­g with the local community on a larger scale.”
