Kuwait Towers

Kuwait Towers is one of Kuwait’s most famous landmarks. It is located on the Arabian Gulf Road in Sharq district. The Kuwait Towers are a group of three towers in Kuwait City, standing on a promontory into the Arabian Gulf.

Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre

The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre showcases performing arts and creates a world-class theater quarter in a spacious parkland setting. The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre is a cultural center in Kuwait, located on the Gulf Road in the capital, Kuwait City. It is the largest cultural center and opera house in the Middle East. The cultural center is part of the Kuwait National Cultural District.

Al Shaheed Park

Al Shaheed Park, located on the periphery of Kuwait City, narrates the story of a land, its history, and its culture. The park consists of 200,000 m2 of greenery, featuring beautiful botanical gardens, two museums, a visitor center, a lake, walkways, and jogging tracks, making it the largest urban park in Kuwait. Al Shaheed Park is considered the most significan­t green infrastruc­ture project in Kuwait and has one of the largest over-structure green roofs in the world. The park is part of the new Kuwait National Cultural District.

Boulevard Park

Boulevard is the largest touristic hub in the country, including more than 353,000 square meters of fabulous family fun in the area of Salmiya, a component of the trade center that contains global shops, a hypermarke­t, and a lounge entertainm­ent interior in addition to gardens, village restaurant­s, a health club, an outdoor theater, and multiple halls.

Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre

Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre is one of the world’s largest cultural complexes housing a total of 22 galleries with over 1,100 exhibits. The complex offers a Natural History Museum, Science and Technology Museum, a Fine Arts Centre, Arabic Islamic Science Museum, Space Museum, and Theatre. The developmen­t of Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre involved coordinati­on between 96 sub-contractor­s from 13 countries around the world – a truly internatio­nal collaborat­ion. The Centre’s facilities are gathered around a beautifull­y landscaped courtyard that plays host to festivals and community events and provides space for outdoor exhibits, as well as a variety of cafés and restaurant­s. The theatre and special exhibition spaces host an ongoing series of quality programs covering a variety of topics and themes related to the arts and sciences. The Fine Arts Centre will host an Artist-in-Residence (AiR) program which will support the developmen­t of local artistic talent, in turn, allowing their work to be accessible to an internatio­nal audience.

Green Island

Green Island is a part of the Sea Front, constructe­d in February of 1988. It is the first artificial island.

Failaka Island

Failaka Island is one of the most famous historical islands in Kuwait. Failaka is a Kuwaiti island, 20 km off the coast of Kuwait City in the Arabian Gulf. The island is becoming a tourist magnet in Kuwait. The overall impression of the island demonstrat­es that a commitment is being made to preserve the distinctiv­e cultural, social, and environmen­tal heritage of the island. Failaka is divided into various sections. Each section has its own uniqueness. There are tourist parks, family parks, heritage parks, sanatorium­s, hotels, swimming pools, tents, and zoos, among others. There are also small resorts for tourists who choose to stay for a night or weekend. The island offers family-fun activities ranging from renting electric scooters, visiting the museum, kayaking, 4-wheeling, picnicking on the beach, and visiting the horse stables.

The Scientific Center

The Scientific Center has three main fascinatin­g attraction­s, which are the aquarium, Discovery Place and IMAX Cinema.

Al-Khiran Resort

Khiran Resort is located in Khiran District, southeast of Kuwait City. Since opening its doors in February 1987, Khiran Resort has become one of Kuwait’s most popular getaways. Located in the Khiran District (approximat­ely 110 kilometers) from Kuwait City, it occupies a prime seafront stretching 1,800 meters, with an area exceeding 789,380 square meters, overlookin­g the Arabian Gulf. Lavish greenery, beautifull­y landscaped lawns, and sandy beaches surround the resort, perfectly contrastin­g against the sparkling blue water to create a real seaside haven.
